Transporting Safety Matches

The HM table instructs shipping papers to list Matches, Safety, Book, UN1944, 4.1, III. DOT-E #173.186. The DOT Exception allows for no additional markings, labels, or placards.

Packaging Specifications

Standard Book Match packing is 2500 books/case. The average case weight is 20#. Each standard packed case is 1.25 cu ft. The Ti-Hi pattern is 7 x 6 (or customer request). We use Grade A/#1 Pallets.
